I put a lot of trust, buying this complete system from the other side of the world, and it was worth it. While there was some delay, Peter was very upfront about his efforts in upgrading the system and dictionaries before sending it out to me, and his communication was examplary. Shipping was ridiculously fast.

Peter has been very generous with information on running the system and other technicalities, customer service in many industries can certainly take a leaf out of his book.

I am learning my way around the various dictionaries, considering that I intend to settle in Japan, there's no excuse for not purchasing a product that will accelerate my learning of the language.

I think one should purchase a much larger memory card to go with the PDA, I only chose the basic 2GB SD card.

Thank you Peter! I would like to buy you a drink when I get over there!

Note from Peter: this is a review of the X50V with the English WM6 operating system. The current Japanese OS system (on an iPAQ hx4700) now comes with a 4 GB card, and the current English WM6 OS system (on an Axim X51V, a later model) comes with a 16 GB card. All of these PDAs have two slots for memory cards, so the memory can be easily upgraded by adding a CF card, available everywhere, should one find a need for more memory later on. And I'm partial to Bombay on the rocks.
